Is it still possible to download all the results for a search into an Excel file?

It was easy to do with the search results before the new search format. I could take everyone in a location with a specific surname, load them all into Excel, then sort them all by birth, marriage, death, parents, etc., saving much time over browsing the search results.

There were options to download in groups of 100 records into Excel, ODS files, and a couple of others.

Can I still do this?

Yes, It is possible with a More Options search - whether you choose that initially or later. The spreadsheet download is found on the Preferences tab - behind More Options tab (on right side new Search interface). You may need to scroll to the bottom to view the spreadsheet download options.

Interestingly I just checked to see if it allows download of multiple page results - and it does appear to be working successfully. You can download up to 100 at a time - just as the page settings allow for display of results.

    Pictorially ...

On the "Results" page/screen, of a search ...

Yet more evidence of the new interface's complete and utter failure at meeting the stated goals of an "inviting and helpful" experience. As demonstrated, when a function is not visible, it may as well not exist.

Please, mods or employees or someone at FamilySearch: are you listening? Can we please have the old interface back?

I can understand the frustrations with features being moved from one place to another. The old Search parameters and some filters were inline, visible and scrollable on the same page (you still had to filter collections on another tab) - the new Search has more tab-like features. I'm ok with either - but for those that would like a 'visible' feature set it would be nice to have the option for a scrollable page like the old Search. It would be nice to have the option to move More Options/Preferences to the left - but since you can close them and they are available at the top of the Search Page that's fine too - it doesn't bother me too much. Thanks.
