How can I add my half brother to my family tree?

After my mother's death, my 3-year old brother was adopted by another family. His name shows up as being their son. I would like to add him to my family tree. Can someone help me with this? Thanks for any help.

Since your brother was adopted you will want to show him as an adopted child under his adopted family and also show him as a biological child under his biological parents. In this case make sure that you put detailed information in the collaborate area on each person page that is involved. For example put the same information on your brothers person page, each of his biological parents person pages and his adoptive parents person pages. By adding that information it will help others understand what happened in your brothers life and will decrease any misunderstanding.
