 ML2H-9NV William Ford Nichols. All data is in the tree but it says ordinances not available.

My understanding is that we are suppose to be gathering Israel. I just spent 45 min trying to figure out how to send a message. The new help system is not helpful. we need a simple way to contact fs for problems like the above

    @Wilkins, Linda

    Linda

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    [ And, I happen to be a member of the Church ... ]

    Unfortunately ...

    Due to the recent 'Demise', of the 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case Management System, earlier this Year, we can NO LONGER submit 'FamilySearch' "Support" Cases; which, were, essentially, ("Private") 'Messages" directly to 'FamilySearch' "Support".

    And, with the 'Demise', of the 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case Management Syholus-bolusstem; and, NO alternate System, the 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) were basically "Moved", 'holas bolas', into this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    Now ...

    That Said ...

    As such ...

    Here is a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch'

    Contact Support

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/contact-familysearch-support

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/contact-familysearch-support

    Depending on one's location in the World ...

    We can either:

    (1) For a "Private" communication ...

    Contact 'FamilySearch' "Support" DIRECTLY via the,

    (a) Telephone; and,

    (b) an "Live ('On-Line') "Chat"

    To keep the communication "Private", if you are directed back to this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, insist that you do not want to do so; and, prefer that the matter be handled "Privately".

    Whereas,

    (2) For a communication is "Public" view ...

    'Post' HERE in "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; and, HOPEFULLY, the "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ] HERE in this Forum, can TAKE the MATTER directly into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support", to help/assist you; and, communicate with you "Privately" via/through either, ("Private") 'Messaging' in 'FamilySearch' (or, the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum); and/or, DIRECT "E-mail".

    And ...

    IF, you want, keep any 'Post' here, in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, to a minimum, devoid of, "Personal" Information about one's self; and, even, not providing information about any Ancestors, just a precis of the matter; and, requesting a "Private" communication directly from 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel).

    I know that this does not help; but, I hope that this gives you some perspective.

    Brett

    .

    ps: By the way ...

    I would humbly suggest, that if you have not already; that you consider reposting/resubmitting, this "Request" of your, regarding the "Temple" Work for William Ford NICHOLS ( ML2H-9NV ) into the follow place, in this Forum ...

    "Q and A" Section

    'Category' = Temple

    Home > Help Center Categories > Temple

    Temple

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple-support

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple-support

    Where, the "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ], can take the matter into the working of 'FamilySearch' "Support", to help/assist you.

    .

    pps: 'G'Day', Cuz, I am also related to William Ford NICHOLS ( ML2H-9NV )

    @Wilkins, Linda

    Linda

    As an aside ...

    I just took a 'look' at the "ChangeLog" for William Ford NICHOLS ( ML2H-9NV ).

    There have been some SIX (x6) "Merges"/"Combines" for him, over the Years.

    https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/changelog/ML2H-9NV/merges

    I would humbly suggest, that those "Merges"/"Combines", would have definitely contributed to the problem/issue with regard to the "Temple" Work.

    In fact, I would be very much surprised, if the "Temple" Work, for him, had not ALREDY been done (ie. "Completed").

    Such, WILL need to be investigated by 'FamilySearch' "Support", to address/fix the "Temple" Work for him.

    Just a thought.

    Brett
