I am working on a marriage record for a parish. The only information listed is marriage date and the names of those getting married. There are only three marrages per page. How do I go to the next page?

To answer your batch question - please post the batch code so we can give you a better answer. The batch code can be found at the top of the Web Indexing view .... Project Name [batch code] OR through Help (menu)> Share Batch. Once we have the batch code we can advise you more specifically concerning how to advance.

If a record in a batch continues into the next image, you can see those images by clicking on the little square book icon at the bottom of the icons to the upper left of the image. If you hover over it, it will say Reference images.

This works no matter whether the next image is part of your batch or not. No matter what, you can use the data on that next page to complete indexing the the last record of the image you are on. If that image is part of your batch, you will continue indexing on the next page. If it is not part of your batch, you must not index any further on that following (+1) page.

    Dianne,

There could be multiple answers to your question. To best answer your specific question more information is needed.

    1. Do you mean you have multiple images in your batch but you are unable to advance? Usually if there are multiple images you can click on the next one (in the filmstrip). Does your Entry form have a blue bar with 'Image 1 of 1' or Image 1 of ?
    2. Do you mean you only have one image in the batch and you want to find the next page in reference to that image? Usually batches are downloaded in a somewhat random order unless you 'Check out' more than 1 batch at a time (which you can do when in Find Batches dialogue). For example, in the upper right corner you can 'check out' up to 9 batches at one time (at least that is what I see). Even then it may be somewhat random and not in page order from the original record collection.

It will be best to get the batch code referenced above and then it can be viewed and responded to. If you have already completed and submitted the batch you were referencing - you can download another batch with the Find Batches blue button.

I have the same question. I cannot get to page two. The blue bar says 1 of 1 but the entry says 18 of 40. I am guessing there is a page two. But I have not found a way to advance the pages.

When your blue bar says Image 1 of 1, you only have one image (picture/document/photograph) to index. Most projects have a preset number of entries. In @SarahWatson55 's case it is 40. Once you have indexed all of the information on your image, you must delete the unused entries so you can submit the batch.

To delete the unused entries, click on the Trash Can Icon in the middle of the toolbar. Select "all Blank Entries". Click Delete. Now you will be able to submit your batch!
