    Pamela

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    You are not alone ...

We were All NEW once ...

    For starters ...

Have you tried (ie. Gone through) the following:

[ IF, not; THEN, give them a go ... ]

    Overview

    https://www.familysearch.org/tree/overview

    Learning Centre

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/learning-center

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/learning-center

    'FamilySearch' "Research Wiki"

    FamilySearch Learning Center

    https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/FamilySearch_Learning_Center

    https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/FamilySearch_Learning_Center

    And ...

    Classes in the Learning Center

    https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Classes_in_the_Learning_Center

    https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Classes_in_the_Learning_Center

    Furthermore ...

IF, you are a Member of the Church; THEN, I suggest that you make contact with your LOCAL "Ward/Branch, Temple and Family History, Consultant"

    Whereas ...

IF you are not a member of the of the Church; THEN, I humbly suggest that you 'see' if you can make contact with; and/or, visit your nearest "Family History Centre" of the Church.

The Staff at the "Family History Centres" of the Church, would be ONLY too WILLING to help/assist you.

Of course, that is provided that the "Family History Centres" of the Church nearest you are OPEN; as, there are those that are CLOSED due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic all around the World.

Here is were you may possible be able to find "Family History Centres" of the Church ( and/or, an "Affiliate Library", which MAY be able to help/assist you) nearest you:

Find a Family History Center and FamilySearch Affiliate Libraries

    https://www.familysearch.org/fhcenters/locations/

    https://www.familysearch.org/fhcenters/locations/

    Failing all that ...

Depending on you location in the World ...

    You can contact 'FamilySearch' "Support":

    Contact Support

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/contact-familysearch-support

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/contact-familysearch-support

    Good Luck.

    I hope this helps, somewhat.

    Brett
