Is there a way to see the full project past the 5 plus or minus reference images provided?

US—City and Business Directories, 1749–1990 [Part C]

Example:

testing11.PNG

Sorry it appears blurry, but for the above image (from a returned batch), there is no date and place. It can be inferred the location is Cincinnati, Ohio from the "T & A Pickering" business. The 5 previous and next images do not help with date and place because this place is very populated.

Is there a way to get more previous/next reference images (for place) or the cover of the current directory (for date)?

Will familysearch later add to these dateless placeless records before submitting to the system to be used since they can see more of a big picture view?

Date and place are important to making sure it's the right person to attach to, so if possible, I would like to provide that when indexing.

This is a duplicate post. Here is the answer from the other one:

FamilySearch will add the place and year data later prior to publication. Every image has metadata attached to it that is part of the digitization process.

No worries on your part, just blank the place and the date per the instructions which say do not use advertisements to determine place.

You did ask the question as to whether or not you can look at previous images. You can. You can go to the tool bar (see insert) and choose the last option that looks like a page. There will be a box pop up and on the bottom you will see My batch. There is a scroll bar at the bottom that you can scroll to the left to find the Previous images. And if you scroll to the right it will show Next images.

In this batch however, @Melissa S Himes is correct. You will mark the place and date as blank because they will not have this information on this particular image. This is the only image you will need to index. I hope this has answered your question.
