How to find an image for a source for Martha Bradley, G8V5-GP4.
Martha Bradley,MY 1ST COUSIN SEVEN TIMES REMOVED
Martha Bradley G8V5-GP4, was born 6 September 1695, to Daniel and Hannah [Dow] Bradley. On 15 March 1696/97 there was “an awful massacre” in Haverhill, Essex, MA, where her parents and two siblings were killed and two taken captive. Based on available records, it looks like baby Martha G8V5-GP4 survived. But what became of her? In Ancestry, Essex, MA Probate Records 1648-1840, shows a probate record for a “minor”, Martha Bradley, of Haverhill, Essex, MA. “No image available.” The source references a film, file #3039. Can you tell me how I would access that film. I am hoping it might have guardianship information for Martha.

Hi Kathleen,
Thank you for reaching out. I've had a look at it seems the original images are available on FamilySearch for you to look through. If you search the catalogue, for Essex, Massachusetts and then add Probate in as the subject you should hopefully find what you're looking for.
Good luck in your search.

My own personal advice when searching for probate records in the Catalog, as instructed above, is to look for the ones that have "Court" in the name of the author. If you perform a search as described above, there are several that do: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/results?count=20&placeId=184084&query=%2Bplace%3A%22United%20States%2C%20Massachusetts%2C%20Essex%22&subjectsOpen=383211-50.
This one in particular has estate file numbers: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1931591?availability=Family%20History%20Library
If you scroll to the bottom, you will see that there are 28 pages of these. You can flip through the pages until you find a film that should include file #3039. Then click on the camera beside the film that you want to look at to see the images.
You might also want to look at some of the other search results that have Massachusetts, Supreme Judicial Court, or something similar, as the author to see if there is more information about this family. Look at the films with 1696 and a year or two after. You may find that they have indexes at the front or are in alphabetical order.
