US, Missouri- Naturalization Records, 1843-1991 [Part E] [M3F8-SQ6]

The record is labeled PETITION FOR NATURALIZATION but the purpose of the document is to request a name change. The project instructions name change cards images should be marked No Extractable Data. I have not idea if this is a name change card or a Petition For Naturalization.

    @ElaineLeDuc Hello Elaine. Thank you for your question regarding the difference between a Name Change Card or a Petition for Naturalization. In the Project Instructions under What to Index, the fifth bullet point, there are examples of how to Index the various documents in this project. This is indeed a Petition for Naturalization image with the same type of document as yours. It should be indexed exactly as you did. See the link below.
