Same names, still review??
Im working on the new United States--Enlisted and Officer Muster Rolls and Rosters, 1916-1939 [Part K] and i have a couple of questions.
First, if a date on one of these pages is outside the batch date, (like 1915 or 1940 for example) Is it ok that i still indexed it like that and submitted it? Is the record just misfiled?
Second, there are several times ive had a record that i review and submit, and a little later i seem to get a record that looks exactly the same. Same people. Its easier to notice when the record only has a few names on it. Ive thought about reporting it as a duplicate file, but i havnt been able to remember if the dates were the same as the first one i remember, which if not, would make it a different timeline record entirely. I cant go back and see a file i already submitted to make sure. Am i in the right for just reviewing and submitting these new ones? I know for a fact ive done many short files with the same 5 or so people on it but i dont know if its a waste or not.
