Hello,
Are you saying you have a normally populated tree but presently, you cannot see the people you have entered?
If you are searching for Ancestors that you can see but are not finding them in any of the online record databases, could you provide us with the PIDs of the first generation of "deceased" ancestors prior to the living people in your tree. We could then try and make some searches and see if we can find ways from our own attempts to find people, to provide you with a similar experience, directing you in workable research paths.
So, please respond and provide us with your PID (Personal ID) ancestral information, giving us a base to find ways to help you.
We hope we can point you into a path of success! Cheerio for now!

Hello @TallyArden ,
You are looking for yourself in the Family Tree? Because of privacy purposes, living people are not searchable. You will have to add the living people you want to see on your tree and connect them to a deceased ancestor. Only you will be able to see these living people and the PIDs for them will be different than the ones in someone else's account
To find yourself in your own account,
- Sign in to FamilySearch.org.
- Click Family Tree.
- Click Person (this should be you). Your PID will be on this page.
If you are not the person who comes up, you will need to change the starting person:
There is a fantastic site where people who are new to FamilySearch can learn to use it. Search for https://www.thefhguide.com.
Please let us know if you have further questions.
Best Wishes!
