Indexing Count

@Jana Hodge -Hi Jana, they still keep a running total of all you've indexed and reviewed. When you open your page to see the batches that you have checked out to your right you will see "My Indexing Totals." If you scroll down you will see a square entitled "Progress" click on projects and it will show all your indexing information and how many you've done along with what you've reviewed. I do hope this helps. Thank you for your time.

If you seem to be missing records in your total, they might not have transferred over when the program went from the desktop program to the web=indexing program. Or, you might have two accounts out there. I also think I lost about 180,000 records during the merge. I really never cared enough to pursue this either. But, if you want to, you can contact FamilySearch at your local phone number and explain the situation. To find that telephone number click on the question mark and then the Contact Us tab. I know that in the past they have found records that didn't transfer.

Thanks so much for your answer. I didn't realize that they had switched accounts. Jana

@Jana Hodge I might have mislead you. "They" didn't switch accounts. There was the old program which had arbitration, and then this new web-indexing program which replaced it. What I meant was that some folks have two indexing accounts without even knowing they created two accounts.
Anyway, you can look at your progress report and see the difference between your web-indexing totals and your overall total. Just click on projects under the graph and it will show you your web-indexing totals. The total under My Indexing Totals is supposed to be the total records from the old program combined with your web-indexing totals.
