    Hello Flavia,

Do I need to put the spouse's name if they are divorced?

I would say to use you own judgement. I would think that if the name of a spouse is there it would be indexed. The researcher may find the record once it is posted for the public and if the image has no restrictions to be seen he/she will make their own conclusions.

Here is something else to think about : As long as project instructions and the field help don't say to just index the primary person it would be okay to index the spouse if an entry is given in the entries of this primary person.

Hope this answer your question. Thank you for indexing this precious records.
