I have done Muster Rolls before, but not one formatted like this. My question is what date do I use? Jul 21, 1923?

Using the Military Year Field Help, bullet points 4 and 5 yes you would use 21 July 1923.

When multiple dates are present on the image, please choose the enlistment year based on the following hierarchy:

    1. Enlistment date
    2. Muster roll or monthly roster date
    3. Any other applicable military date

If more than 1 enlistment date was given, use the earliest date.
