Minnesota Obituaries
US, Minnesota, Brown County—Obituaries, 1855–1990[M385-978]
I am reviewing this batch. There are multiple articles for the same person. I combined the information in those for one set of entries. His daughter's obituary is also given. Do we include the names in her obituary that were already listed in the father's obituary? (there is a different relationship for them) Instructions in the past specifically stated to only include each name once, but since they are actually different obituaries should they be indexed again?

I would index the daughter's obituary separately. It doesn't fall under the category of multiple deceased individuals in a single notice. If it had been the same obituary and they had died together, then you would only list the individuals once under the first deceased's name and not repeat.
A couple of other things I noticed:
Entry 1 Given Name: Aelred T or Al (because Al is his nickname)
Entry 2 you can just list Father as the prefix and that is enough evidence to index the gender as male
All of the folks from 34 on are nonrelatives

Thank you. I had neglected to use the most complete version for Father (instructions say not to expand abbreviations for prefixes) and hadn't thought about the gender designation there. I will do all names in Diane's obituary - hadn't gotten past #22 before asking question. It's so easy for some to assume a relationship, but I know you don't.
