Deceased person's Discovery Page
Is there a way to edit information on a deceased family member's Discovery Page? When it was created there was a tag to the deceased person on a memory that contained personal information on a living family member. The living family member does not want the information visible to the public. I have been able to remove the tag on the memory so it doesn't show up on the deceased family member's person page but it is still visible on the Discovery Page. Any help is appreciated.

From: https://www.familysearch.org/blog/en/ancestor-discovery-page/
"The Ancestor Discovery Pages are manually updated every one to two weeks. There isn’t an exact time table for their updates. Check the page every few days."
It may take a while for this update to occur - I can only guess this is what is happening?

It's been about a month or more since I untagged the offending memory. It has not updated or been removed from the Discovery Page. Probably because it was entered also as a story on the Discovery Page as I see from looking further. Any suggestions on how to edit someone else's entry. No, they will not remove or edit it.

So the tag/offense has been removed from the Story in Memories by the person who posted it - but it still appears in the Discovery page? It sure sounds like that should have taken care of it and that the 'update' of the Discovery page should remove that - but I guess it has been long enough if it's been about a month. I do see the option that you can report a Memory on a person as Other and include that it contains a living person reference that does not consent to the Memory including their information.
You will see the Report Abuse flag above the Story.
When you click that the reason could be Copyright Infringement (consent for being in a picture) or
non-consent if the 'tag' is still showing there. Either way FamilySearch would receive that Report and get in touch with you.
I hope this helps resolve the matter.

Your answer is great. I am the one that removed the tag so it doesn't show in memories. I'm not sure where it is now. That's why I don't understand why it still shows up on the discovery page. Could it be that on the discovery page there is the option to add a story about a person and we can't edit someone else's contribution? I believe it was added to discovery in addition to the memories that I removed the tag from. This is perplexing. It was reported but no response has been given.
Thank you for giving your time to this problem.

I wish I new more about the Discovery page 'manual update'. That process is apparently what this Person Discovery page needs to happen to remove it since you have already Edited it from Memories. The Discovery page Memories/Stories and the Memories tab on the Person page should match and be the same - whether contributed on the Discovery page or in Memories. That's why I think the 'manual update' of the Discovery page should occur to address this - but I don't know how FamilySearch does that process.
If you are able to delete the item - if you added it you will be able to delete it - Recently Deleted items in your Gallery state:
"The memories below will be permanently deleted after 120 days. While in Recently Deleted, they cannot be viewed by others, edited, nor attached to Family Tree."
If you are unable to delete the item then yes it was added by someone else and the only option there is to Report Abuse (I believe).
I sent you a private message. Look for the red dot next to the envelope at upper right here in Community - next to your Profile avatar.

FYI
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
That is the various Users/Patrons ...
The Users/Patrons are doing that ...
That is a matter of, "Education"; and, "Training", of Users/Patrons ...
I now, dislike the one's (ie. Photographs), that are just "Headstones"; or, "Graves"; as, "Portraits".
Just; as, I have ALWAYS disliked, the "Coats of Arms"; or, the "Family Crests"; as, "Portraits".
Unfortunately ...
That is allowed ...
Just my thoughts.
