Someone added about eleven different identities for my grandfather WILLIAM FRANKLIN MERRILL (Merrell) 1847 1924.
Can you restore all his information to an earlier date and delete all those errors? His real number is L7T7-C6W .

We are sorry that your grandfather has had several alternate names listed. Looking at the information you gave us, there is a possible duplicate for your grandfather. Some of those alternate names could be the duplicate. You will need to look at your sources and knowledge to determine if it is a duplicate and merge the two. Also others adding information think that their information is accurate. You should message them and work together to determine which information is accurate. They believe their information is as correct as you believe it isn't. Working together would be better. They may have information that you don't or vice versa. You also have the ability to edit and undo any change you don't think is correct.

Hello @thomasmerrill
Briefly, it appears that you created a record for your grandfather in May of 2020:
William Franklin Merrell 1847–1924 • G7GP-6PW.
This record includes the spouse, Martha Ursula Lindsey G7C6-G2W, The record for Martha was also created last year by another contributor and you added her as a spouse to William Franklin Merrell.
The record you created for William Franklin Merrell has minimal information and no sources, but his relationship to the spouse is what has "tipped off" the system to recognize and locate what appears to be the duplicate record: William F Merrill L7T7-C6W.
William F Merrill L7T7-C6W is shown with three spouses, including Martha E. Arsula Lindsey LHHB-7VM. These records were created years ago and came over from the old system, new.familysearch.org.
What you are going to need to do now, as mentioned above, is to compare your recently created records with what appear to be duplicates. William F Merrill L7T7-C6W has a complete profile, including photos and 70 sources. There are an additional 13 or 14 record hints to review and attach. Working from his page, you can easily merge your duplicate record with this one.
Because of the differences in the spelling of Martha's name, you may need to merge the duplicates by ID, but that will be easy enough once you have merged the two Williams.
Merging can be a complicated process at times, so please call FamilySearch support if you would like "live" assistance.
Best wishes for continued success as you work in Family Tree.
