If there are no birth dates listed for the child baptized, can I assume that at least the birth year of the child is the same as its christening/baptism year?
Please share your batch copying and pasting the batch link or batch code. When your batch is open, click Help, in the upper left just above the toolbar. On the drop-down menu, click Share Batch. You'll see those 2 options.
It sure helps to see the batch for a specific answer but.... if the birth date is not explicitly stated we do not assume the birth year from the baptism year. Some children were baptised years after their birth and some people being baptised were actually adults but you cannot tell from the information. So if that is the case in your batch the birth date, month and year will all be <blank>
I was having trouble deciphering the last digit on the child's birth year... could the child still be baptised at the age of 18 if I input the information of what I think the digit might be? like the bottom half of a 5?
entry no. 2105
Correction... entry 2105 birth year 3rd & 4th digits... 18_ _ 1859?
