Dear David,
Thanks for your questoin relating to the tree that connects you with Agatha Christie. We are glad you are accessing Community to post your questions. We have visited with a FamilySearch tree helpers and were given the following information. THis may not totally answer your question and so we hope other FamilySearch/Community individuals will send you their thoughts relating to your question. Here is information you may want to consider:
*If the famous person is marked confidential or is still living, Information about living individuals is private and will be in a guest's private space.
*Without knowing the PID number we cannot look up the individual they are asking about.
*more than likely your guest accessed "Famous Relatives" in the Activities tab. https://www.familysearch.org/discovery/
*He would be able to try to recreate his search, but please remember that changes are constantly made to the tree and the connection may not be there at this time due to changes others have made to the tree. I had this happen when we were exploring the Mayflower campaign.
We hope these four items of information were helpful to you. Wishing you a nice rest of the week.

It is relatively easy to trace the ID reference of a person who has been added to Family Tree. Firstly, go to the "Find" section, from the link at the top of any page in Family Tree. Then input the name of the individual being sought. When I entered "Agatha Christie" I was given a number of options. A quick look at Wikipedia advised me she was born at Torquay in 1890 and died at Wallingford in 1976. This immediately enabled me to discover her Family Tree ID is L6JV-D2K.
Most famous people will have at least a brief biography online (in Wikipedia or elsewhere), so if there are multiple entries in Family Tree for individuals who shared the same name, look first to confirm their birth / death details to ensure you are selecting the correct one.
It is not always so easy to discover a person by using the "Find" function (not all "famous" people will even have an existing profile in Family Tree, of course), but I would recommend this as the most direct way of getting to their records.
Finally, as Ted suggests, do not look for living persons in this way, as their profiles will only be visible to the users who created them.

Hello @David Dobson_1 and @WardDonnaLee1,
An easy way to find to find famous relatives is to click on Activities in the top left of your screen, as mentioned by @Ted D. Adams. Then,
- Click on All Activities from the drop-down.
- Click on Famous Relatives.
This will show you the relatives of the person who is signed in to FamilySearch.
Best Wishes!
