Hello. I am trying to index for the first time. However, after doing the first image in three separate batches, I cannot advance to the next record. I seem to be missing the next image bar at the bottom. My laptop is running Windows 10 and is just a year old. I have tried both Chrome and the Microsoft browser. Am I just missing seeing some advancement button or...??? Help.

    Hi,

I think this will be saying that it is only partially indexed as the system thinks there are 55 records in this case to index. The image you've shared looks like there is only one marriage licence in this case to enter.

You therefore have 54 empty records which it thinks need indexing so it says it is partially indexed. You need to remove these extra entries before submitting. If you click the dustbin it will give you the option to delete all the blank entries.

    Hi,

I can see from your screenshot that it says "Image 1 of 1" in the blue bar. This means that in this batch there is only one image that needs indexing. If you need to advance to the next entry on a document to index a new record you would do that on the line below where it says "Entry 1 of 55".

Hope this helps you. Any more questions please ask!

thank you for answering. When I split the screen, I can see that there are other images there "for reference only. Do not index." When I return the batch, it indicates that it is only partially indexed. This problem happens with every batch I open. There is no "image" button at the bottom to advance. If I click on Entry 1 of 55, it clears THAT section, but I don't get a new image anywhere. :(

For those of us who may not know what a dustbin is, it is a garbage can or trash can. The icon is in the middle of the icons above the image window. :)

That is true, although it’s not referred to as a garbage or trash can here. If you use those terms to people you do get blank stares! I perhaps should have found a more universal term for the rubbish bin/garbage can/trash can!!
