Sign in problems

Hello @Amy L Brandt
There are no reported universal problems with signing in, so the issues must be specific to your computer or device,
We were able to verify your account and it looks like you successfully signed in recently. Is your computer auto-filling your username and password? If so, does that browser feature need to be updated with your most recent password reset?
Here is what you can do if the FamilySearch website repeatedly gives you the error "Username or password was incorrect."
Steps
- Clear your FamilySearch Cookies at https://www.familysearch.org/cookies.
- If clearing your cookies does not work, recover your FamilySearch username and password if you have forgotten them.
- If you still cannot sign in, please contact FamilySearch Support.
Hoping this helps.

I am a missionary at the St. George Family Search Center. I get a lot of people who have trouble signing in, even when they know their username and password. I think it would be very helpful if we could have the eyeball icon which will make the password be visible to the person trying to sign in. So many times we have people who are older and it difficult for them to type to password correctly. It is very frustrating for them and sometimes they just give up. Please, please help with this.

You might post your comment about the password showing in Community, Ideas, General User Interface or use the Feedback at the bottom of a FamilySearch page.
This is the process for asking for interface changes.
