size of batch
I had a batch with 35 items but the counter said there were 40 items. I could not submit my finished work of the 35 items without doing something with the remaining 5 records. I put "blank" in each line of the 5 records and then submitted the batch.
Did I do this correctly?

Rarely are the the number of lines provided match the number of entries that need to be made. Next time you have this issue, in the toolbar is a trash can. if you click on the trash can, it will open a window with some choices, choose the option to delete all blank lines by click on it and a check mark will appear next to it, then click the delete button at bottom of the window and this will delete all the lines you do not need. You will then be able to submit the batch.

Sometimes it is the other way and you need more lines to complete all the indexing.
To add lines: On the toolbar, just to left of the trash can is box with a + sign. when you click on it, it gives you some choices where you want to insert the line or lines. At the top of the window, you will see the number (1), but you can change that number to however many lines you need. Once you have made you choices, then click add. It will now add that many lines.

Tom123, I just ran into the situation again. This time only had 2 items to enter but they system was looking for 40.
I followed your instructions and it worked!! (of course...:) )
