A "new idea" would be to scrap this new look and go back to how the site was!

This is a nightmare and I'm running around in circles. Not good at all.

I agree. It used to be really easy to drill down to a specific source, not anymore.

Whatever possessed you to make these search engine changes? I've wasted hours tonight trying to locate records, going around in circles and now I've given up. FamilySearch is no longer user friendly, it's completely shambolic, hard to navigate, frustrating, unreliable and totally un-usable. Even free sites should at least work. Family history research is a slow process at the best of times, you've just made it worse. Sadly, you've ruined your own site and the user experience. I'm off to renew my Ancestry subscription. I'd rather pay for something that works than a free site that doesn't.

When I Clicked on the FamilySearch button last night and your new format came up , I thought I had made a mistake . I could not believe you had made such a mess of your own website . I tried it again this morning and no , I had not made a mistake you have made a huge mistake . The upside to this is that I will get a whole lot more yard work done , the down side is that I will truly miss tracking my family roots.

The whole site is basically the answer. The new interface, the results, it's a sad joke. Family Search is now ruined. Just glad I'm not alone, see the other replies/comments.
