Did Feb. 1862 have 30 days? :)

The dates on this register appear to be a little confusing and jump all around.
I guess all I can do is index what I see and put that Feb had 30 days in 1862 - unless it's Jan. from the previous page - difficult to tell where one month ends and another begins...
While I'm at it - I believe the first record is a burial? - the previous page seems to indicate that ... the surnames seem different ...

The reason I suspect burial record for the first record is the Bd abbreviation instead of Married (as the others indicate).
I went ahead and indexed the second record as Jan 30...

February 1862 had 28 days.
The first record looks like a marriage record to me, like some others on this image. There is an "&" between the 2 names.
These are rated advanced and the handwriting is challenging!
