Could you please give us the ID #'s of the above mentioned Husband and Wife in your Family Tree, so we can investigate the problem and offer assistance.

Go to the page of the individual, for example John can be found at
You should be on the Details tab already. The various tabs show just below his name at the top. Details is on the far left.
The Tools section is some way down on the right hand side. As you created the person, you should be able to delete - see the bin icon at the end of the tools section.
If it says Delete Person Unavailable then the alternative is to merge him with the duplicate. Possible duplicates can be found by clicking on the icon at the top of the Tools section.
Hope this helps. Please repost if you are still unsure what to do.

Because this concern is about working in Family Tree, I will be moving the discussion to the Community Family Tree category where it can be seen by other guests who may have a similar concern. Please don't be alarmed when you see it closed in the FamilySearch Community category. Clicking on the title there will allow you to see it in the Family Tree category where it remains open and active.

I took a look at John Higgins. It looks like only John is duplicated. The other people appear to have the same ID number. I think that if you merge the possible duplicate that you might be okay after that. Here is a help article that will walk you through merging the 2 Johns.
Hopefully this will resolve your issues.

By the way, you can find the possible duplicate on the right hand side of the details tab on the person page.
