Hi

A man I am researching is found in the 1900 Boston census The Naturalization column is filled in

I am unable to locate this record in the available Family Search records. The purpose of the search is to find the county in Ireland where he was born, as I note many records have this detail

I have found his marriage, and death details, and some of his children,s births in Boston

The census states he arrived in 1883- though I have not confirmed this

Any search tips appreciated

Here's a suggestion - this article explains how to schedule a free, 20 minute virtual consultation with a research specialist at the SLC Family History Center.

Usually with Irish immigrants in America the problem is too many possible matches, not too few. It would help to share his person ID with us.

    Thankyou

Im not sure what you mean by personal ID-? I know approximate birth date and country of birth ,marriage place and date and death and burial details.I also located some Catholic baptisms for his children in Boston.

I am trying to locate county of birth in Ireland which I have seen noted on some Naturalization documents, as the 1900 Boston census noted he was natualized.

Person ID is the code assigned to the person in Family Tree.

Have you been only looking in FamilySearch historical records? Family Tree is a power tool.
