Is there any way to put an unpublished family history book online to your site? It is about 100 pages, typed, with many beautiful pictures. Only thought googlebooks scanned & upload them but thought you might have a way... Thank you, Brenda in memphis

I am not connected with FamilySearch

You could upload the pdf file to the Internet Archive, where there are many genealogy books already available.

See the Internet Archive page "Community Texts" https://archive.org/details/opensource?tab=about where there is a link Click here to contribute your book!

@Brenda Watson_1 Thank you for your questions. FamilySearch offers the memories feature. We would suggest you read over the link below as it explains what steps to use if you feel this would be a good option for uploading your family history book. Please note there is a limitation on the size of PDF documents and the types of photos you can upload.

    "The Armstrong Collection"

An amazing Word doc with pictures I developed 15+ years ago with the grandson (William J. "Billy) Armstrong III, of the Memphis Yellow Fever martyr (Dr. William J. Armstrong) from his data, letters & pictures of the family from 1862-1924. We gave CDs to every historical society before Billy died in 2005 but no one has put this online for the world to access. It has never been copyrighted. I have been told that I own this doc since I researched, collected, compiled, and organized this a Word doc. The Chain of Custody and full credits are in the doc. It has a Table of Contents, is 195 pages, & includes supplementary information. Unfortunately, it is 19 mg as a PDF so I cannot sent a pdf. Can I send you a CD with the Word doc?

Thank you, Brenda B. Watson, (901) 237-3094, 8067 Neshoba Rd., Germantown, TN 38138
