Why won't source linker let me add information to my father's tree?

I am trying to link a source suggested on my father's profile to him.The linker page does not list any info in my tree or the source. It just keeps saying its "retrieving","analyzing" and "matching" but never shows anything.

We suspect that you are experiencing browser issues while attempting to attach the source using source linker. You may want to clear your browser of cookies and cache. First go to the question mark with the circle around it in the top right corner of the page.

Then select "help center." Then type in key word "cookies." There will be several articles, but this is the one you should select: https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-delete-all-of-the-cookies-and-temporary-files-stored-by-my-internet-browser

Tried what you said. Cleared cookies on my computer and rebooted. Still stalling. Even on home page.
