I need help, I have made an error and have a set of duplicate profiles with parents and children.

I cannot merge them as it does not allow me to. it says it cannot merge a parent with a child. any help would be appreciated.

    HES1977 

    This can be very frustrating when this happens but there are ways to fix it. It usually involves a several step process.

    You will need to correct the parent-child relationships and then you will be able to do any merging if necessary. Be sure you keep track of the different ID numbers to help you with any merging that might need to be done.
