A source was used to create a husband and wife relationship. Incorrect information added.
Added to the husband in the couple were parents, siblings and another spouse. Only the couple relationship is correct. The other marriage occurred before he was born.
The only correct information is the name of the husband, Barzilla Delano, L4HM-VKB, the spouse Mary Garnes, MKZZ-XNX, and the marriage date.
All other information and people were added erroneously. The LDS ordinances have been completed. How do I separate this?
Please offer suggestions.
Many thanks,

Hello, Please wait to disconnect things, until we look at another possible solution. It is possible, this problem came by way of an incorrect merge. We need to investigate all three merges shown below. Please give us a little time to do this and respond to you either here or in a private message. The advantage of this method, if correct, will keep all family lines and temple work connected, which was one of your concerns. You can find these merges by looking in Show All for Barzilla Delano and
Another merge to examine:
Please identify: which is the Correct Wife........We just want to make sure. In any event, please give us some more time to study this issue.

Hello, @JSHope
We looked at Barzilla Delano L4HM-VKB and see at least one data problem. His birth is given as about 1745 in Cumberland, Maine, but the marriage is in 1736. Looking at the source for the marriage it is explained that the record was created from that extracted IGI record.
You will need to do several things. First, correct the birth date. The birth year was taken from the Find A Grave record, which indicates age 75 at the death in 1820. If the Find A Grave record is for the right person, then the birth year is incorrect. You could possibly estimate it, based on the date of the marriage.
Secondly, unlink the second spouse: Mary Cobb.
Here is the knowledge article for removing a wrong spouse, if needed:
Next, if Barzilla Delano's parents are not Thomas Delano III and Sarah, then remove him from the family, as follows:
Thank you for taking the time to make these needed corrections.

I guess I asked the wrong question. I know I need to remove the parents and the extra spouse. My concern is that the ordinance work was done for this person connecting him to the extra spouse and the parents. Would I then need to create a new son (Barzilla Delano) and attach to Mary Cobb and to the parents? Then the ordinance work would need to be repeated??
Barzilla Delano and Mary Garnes would remain intact as the source was used to create them and their ordinance work would remain intact.
I guess I'm concerned because a whole line would be affected when I make up a new Barzilla Delano to attach to Thomas Delano III and Sarah and to the spouse, Mary Cobb. None of the information, birth, death, second marriage belong to Barzilla Delano, L4HM-VKB. All of that information belongs to the son of Thomas Delano, III and Sarah. L4HM-VKB is not their son.
I hope that was more clear. Sorry for the confusion. I appreciate the answers.

Looking at it a second time, there were no children for either marriage of Barzilla Delano so I guess the only ordinance work that would need to be repeated would be for SS and SP.
