Does the library in Salt Lake City have look up services if the book I am needing is not available for viewing through Family Search?

We may not be able to fulfill all requests due to restrictions imposed by the law and contracts signed by FamilySearch.
I am pleased to see you have added this proviso, as I feel many members of Community are being given false hopes, when the response (to similar queries) has been to use the FHL Lookup Service, but not warned that FamilySearch could be in breach of agreements with record custodians, or other third-parties, if they provided copies of certain material being requested.
I do hope that in future all moderators (or ordinary members) will also add this note when providing similar advice to Community members.

I have requested several Look-Ups starting in March of this year. David V has been wonderful is sending what I've requested, but other volunteers just don't know what they are doing. I've gotten cut off pages, pages at really low resolution that I can't even read them, the wrong page attached to my request for another person, not all pages in the folio, and I am being told they just can't find what I requested when I know they exists. You need to train your volunteers on how to download the images properly. I still have outstanding requests dating back to April. I'm very glad you have this service and I can't thank David V enough for his hard work, but you really need to check out your other volunteers. Attached is an example of what I've gotten:

I think you are being unreasonable here. I have not even used the look-up service as yet, as I would feel uneasy about taking up the valuable time of volunteers.
David V might have gone that "extra mile", but I am sure others have worked to the best of their ability. I think it is unfair to be expecting as much as you are requesting.
Also, I see nothing terrible about the quality of copies you have received (examples provided) - I have had to try to decipher far worse. It's not as if the original documents can be much clearer.
Please be grateful FamilySearch is offering any service of this kind. If people overwhelm it with their requests, they might even consider withdrawing this provision. There is no obligation for the organisation to offer any help of this kind.

Hello everyone - I am at a computer at the Toronto Public Library which is an affiliate of familysearch.org but still unable to download an image of a marriage registration I am researching. Would it be possible for someone at a familysearch.org centre to download the image for me and email to me?

There are lawsuits going on about public access to these public records.
Today searching New York City Municipal Archives for this record results in nothing found - not even the index. It will be interesting if you hear back from anyone at a FamilySearch/Family History Center that can access it.
