County?
I am indexing "UK, England, Lancashire—Nonconformist Church Records, 1647–1996". "County" is a required field. The record lists the city where marriages were performed but not the county. However, there is only one city of that name in England, and it was in the county of Lancashire when the marriages were performed. In other words, it is known without question what the county is, even though the name of the county is not explicitly listed in the record. Would it be OK to enter the name of the county, or should <BLANK> be entered?

Hi @Tom Eccles
Thank you for your question on indexing "UK, England, Lancashire—Nonconformist Church Records, 1647–1996"
To properly answer your question we need the Batch code. This is the set of numbers found after the project name.
For example UK, England, Lancashire—Nonconformist Church Records, 1647–1996 [Part B][MSLK-B6D] this batch code is MSLK-B6D. You can just copy and paste this into this feed.
Thank you for your time indexing these precious records.

I think the batch may have been MSLK-BTX, but I am not certain. I no longer have the batch. I entered <BLANK> for County and submitted it.

You did the right thing, Tom. If something isn't on the actual document, we mark the field blank per the field helps.
