How do I report a person that has been inappropriate and block him/her? I uploaded a family group sheet this morning and hadn't had time to make it "private" yet. She didn't agree with it and she deleted it. She didn't talk with me or ask where I got my information. It was rude and unkind. I would like to block her, The questions are

  1. how do i block her?
  2. how do I prevent others from just deleting the work I have done?

    Here name is kayhaden1 and I'm still shaking because of the capital letters she used on the memories. She was essentially was screaming at me because she disagreed. Wow, I'm stunned.

    This was her comment;

    BAD DATA

    "EVERY location in this FGS is WRONG - this family was never in MAINE - none of them - Quinton & joan were born in Yorkshire, England - the children in Sussex, England. There were TEN children!"

    It doesn't matter if she disagrees or not, it was posted to everyone, was essentially yelling at me. I asked her not to email again, but want to block this abuse.

    Hello, @ChicagoVDG

    If this was a comment posted on a memory item, you have the option of reporting abuse:

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-report-abuse-spam-inappropriate-memories-and-other-content

    We assume that when you say the other user deleted the item, you mean that she detached the tag? Others cannot delete memory items that you uploaded, but they can remove the tag. Removing the tag takes the item off the individual's memories page. The item still remains in the contributor's Gallery.

    Hopefully this information will help you deal with what has been a frustrating experience for you.

    Not exactly sure what she meant, but she sent me several dreadful emails how she disagreed with my data. I wanted to delete her comment from the memory section which I couldn't figure out to do so, so I deleted my memory and uploaded it again.

    How would I delete her comments in case I need to in the future?

    @ChicagoVDG

    You can mute (block) her from sending you additional messages. Here is a link to an article with the steps for doing this:

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-mute-or-block-someone-from-messaging-me

    Note: You will click on their name in the right-hand pane, not on the list on the left.

    From here you can also report abuse if you would like to. Follow the same steps but select Report Abuse instead of Mute.

    Can you explain more about the group sheet that she deleted? Was this added as a source, or a memory?

    @ChicagoVDG, if you would share a PID of one of the profiles in contention, we could perhaps help sort out why this other contributor thinks your upload is all wrong, and help you address that.

    Thanks, I finally found the link on Google since their search engine is so strong. I couldn't find the link on family search.

    I also was able to report her. Thanks

    This is happening to me too. SheliaFord4 just deletes hours and hours and hours and days and months of my research because she thinks it’s false. But she is incorrect. She messaged me and told me if I keep adding it back that she’s gonna keeps deleting it. I don’t know why she even even messing with it and want to make her stop.
