Siblings problem

@NicholasBaronti It appears that you are using FamilySearch Mobile and are wondering why your living brother is not displayed? Is this correctly interpreting your question? If so:
The reason your brother is not displayed is because FamilySearch Family Tree protects the Identity of living persons. In order to 'view' your brother in the Tree you will need to add him as a living brother - this creates a Private Space where only you can view the living persons you add to the Tree.
OR
If your brother has passed: then you would either find his record to attach in the Tree, during which process you will be adding him - or you can Add him as a brother through Add Child in your Parents view on the Tree, or you can Menu> Find a Person and search for your brother to see if he already exists in the Tree and attach him.
I hope this helps!

I believe at the top of the FACT page there is an edit button that allows you to identify "Step" children and 1/2 siblings

you are right: the problem is just what you described, I have already selected my brother as living but it is not displayed in the tree. (like any other brother / sister in the whole tree)
it is shown on my tab as my brother and on my parents tab as a second child, but not in the tree.

@NicholasBaronti I think this is because you are the Starting Person in your mobile tree. It doesn't show siblings until - as you indicate - you go to your Parent tab or open one of your parents and view Spouses tab. If you view your brother's 'private person' page then go to '3 dot menu' (Android) and 'view tree' you should see your brother in starting person position - but then you will not be listed - just your brother and possibly his living family - if you have entered them in your 'private space'.
Again this is normal in FamilySearch mobile tree - it is working 'as designed'.
If you want to view your brother in the browser on your mobile device he should show up the way you are thinking - but again only if viewing your parents, in descendancy view for your parents (etc), or if you change Starting Person in your account settings (browser view only).
you would like to suggest FamilySearch mobile app be able to view siblings as you would like - this is a 'new idea' and should be entered at:
Just be sure to specify you are wanting a descendancy or 'bow-tie' view option in the MOBILE tree!
