Correcting indexed records

I know this was in the works quite a while ago, but have there been updates as to making a correction? Or do we just attach the incorrectly indexed record to our ancestor with our notation of the error?

@ltspackman Yes, unfortunately if you do not see Edit options on the Index page for the document - you will need to just attach it and maybe come back to it later to see if it gains more Edit field options to change those you have noted in the attachment reason statement.

Is there any update on this? I have several records that were indexed without a gender. I would like to add this now. I couldn't figure how to do this, if it is now an option.

Many indexes/extracts can now be edited, but gender is rarely one of the fields available to edit.
