I cant figure out how to enter this batch. All the names seem to be Thomas and there are many duplicate numbers. I am assuming this is a burial record of some kind. The right page is burials but has the dates/numbers written out. I have no idea what day in September... Does anyone know how to read these records?

@Paula Marie Bassett What an interesting burial register page. The year is 1593 and there appear to be atleast several dates in September included - but along with you I can't quite make them out - not being too familiar with the 'gothic'/script of the timeframe. I can make out the last 4 dates read - 'Last of September' the prior dates MAY read '22 [nd]' - they appear to be all the same day;
My translation of the explanatory heading top right page:
This book conteineth
Ye Burialls from the [22nd] day of
September Anno dm 1593. And depen-
deth upon a former ?together?, whereunto ?rela-
[t]ion? be ?had? more at large appeareth.
The left page appears to be an index as previously mentioned:
However, I differ in that the names appear to be in given name, surname order not surname, given name. Numbers to the right of the person SEEM to be page number - 'No Reference Images Available' and the left page index does not appear to list page 1 so can be unverified from this image alone.

plague Wanfer Noegate a [little] boy was buried Ye [22nd] day of September
Anno dm 1593
Format for burial record lines seems to be fairly consistent and follow the pattern:
name of deceased, description/relation, relative, date buried

This is an advanced project. If you are not comfortable indexing these it is best to return them to someone with experience with these difficult records.
The days are there on the right side but are difficult to read. There are indexers who are experienced with these records and are amazing at reading them. If you want to learn more and get the experience perhaps you could try an easier batch t o read in this same project?

Looking at the record closer, it looks to be deaths related to a plague (right page). However, i don't know how to read the dates in September. Anyone know how to read those dates?
The names on the left, I have figured out, are alphabetized and that is why they are all "Thomas." However, are they deaths? What do the numbers mean to the right of the names?

Some are variations of Thomas not just Thomas. It looks like the left side is an index. You are right about the plague. I cannot read the dates. One might be duo but since I can't read the entire line it is hard to say if that is correct. Those who are more experienced probably will know.
I believe at least a few of the last entries say the last day of September year 1593.

The left page to me looks like an Alphabetical Index. 1st Column is for T's or in this case Thomas as a surname. In the middle of the second column the V's start (surnames starting with V) and third column seems to be names starting with W's . The numbers on this page seem to be a Page numbers for which the people listed will be found in the Parish Record itself.
I don't see any instructions to index Page Indexes in the Project Instructions. If it were my Batch I would only Index the right side as there are no dates to record on the left Page.
The Researcher seeing the Index will look further into the Records of that Parish for his People.
