Liberia—2008 Census [Part M][M382-QYZ] two sets of not agreeing ages???

    Hi Michele. I am unable to open your batch (”Access Restricted”). But it sounds like you have one of the “Post Enumeration Surveys” (PES) forms. Look at Indexing Example #2 in the Project Instructions (What to Index) which is also one of those. You will see that you should index the value in the white box.

    The PES was conducted 2 months after the original 2008 census on a 5% sample to evaluate various aspects of the census and its process. The age (or other Field value) in the white box is evidently the one from the PES (and should be indexed if available) and the value in the shaded box is evidently from the original census. Maybe the person/ household member who was interviewed for the original census didn't recollect the ages of his or her household-mates the same as the one interviewed for the PES.
