How can I find evidence of our father helping a Japanese neighbor in Seattle in 1941?

Our Dad worked for Boeing in the 1940s in Seattle, Washington. It has come to light recently that he tried to help a Japanese gardening friend avoid the internment camps and I am looking for some evidence. I have tried Densho but have received no answer. I have just found the Consulate-General of Japan in Seattle. I thought of the FBI, but with Covid, they say wait for a better time (and that was 18 months ago).

@John Perazzo thanks for your question in Community. We understand from your question that you would like to find more information about your Dad helping a Japanese family from the internment camps. We would suggest a few things if you have not tried them as yet:

    1) www.newspaper.com - it is the largest online newspaper archive.

    2) Where can I get help with my genealogy?

    3) If your father lived in Seattle his whole life it may prove worthwhile to check the main libraries in their genealogy department for such stories, old newspaper clippings they may be have from that time period on this subject, as well as checking local historical societies (including Japanese historical societies)

    4) On the left is a menu bar, you may want to join a Japanese Group in Community.

As a side note, this may be of interest to you https://www.britannica.com/event/Japanese-American-internment

We hope our suggestions will in time prove beneficial for you.
