There is no way to delete a deceased person, unless you can prove they never existed.

You can "detach" a person from a marriage or parent-child relationship. Let us know if you need help with this.

Hi there Helen, you wish to remove your step grandfather from your tree. As stated by A Van Heldsdigen you can remove a spouse or you can remove a parent-child relationship, you can also have more than one parent-child relationships, if you wish to keep the step grandfather and also have your biological grandfather there is an option for that too. Here are links to some Knowledge articles which may help depending on the situation.

How do I specify biological, step, adopted, and foster relationships in Family Tree?

How do I correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree?

A person in Family Tree has the wrong spouse

How do I set the preferred spouse or parents in Family Tree?

Hope that this information is helpful.
