Here's an article which explains how to return a batch for reindexing.

Hi Daryl. You may also want to consider the "experimental" Labs option (Help>Labs) to Reindex with the "Reasons for Reindexing" form:
If you want to help the Indexer improve and/ or help FS get to the bottom of the problem, you can Return the batch for Reindexing with Reasons.
To activate this “experimental” Labs option, select Help>Labs. You will see a description of this Reasons to Reindex Batch option, examples of using it, and click to activate it. Refresh your browser (curly arrow or F5) and return to your batch. If you click on Batch>Reindex Batch, you will see the following form instead of the usual brief one. This will let you express your concerns about this batch and allow FS to give the Indexer the necessary help or take appropriate action. It includes some standard reasons plus a free-form “Other” option. Tip -sometimes, it doesn't stay activated, and you may need to repeat the activation step.
Below is the form you will see if you choose to activate the Labs option:

Thank you for your concerns on a batch not indexed properly.
If you are reviewing a batch and find errors and would like the batch to be re indexed then can you please share the batch code or Bach number of the project your question refers to.
Batches wrongly indexed can be corrected, and submitted. When a batch is being reviewed and more than 20% is incorrect, a it will go to a second reviewer. We are encouraged to correct records that have been indexed incorrectly.
If the batch was maliciously indexed you can report it here sharing the batch code and description of the problem. If you would like to send back the batch for re indexing, you need to activate the function to Re index batch in Help , laboratories.
Then go back to the batch and click on re index batch, then click on the reasons why the batch should or need to be re indexed.
Hope this answer your question.

From your post: "Batches wrongly indexed can be corrected, and submitted, your corrections will trigger the system to outreach the indexer."
When did this start and how does it happen? Do the indexers really receive outreach? That would be amazing! Do they get an email, a phone call, or a private message?
