@CharlesEOlsen, I have to confess that I cannot find an option in the new Search page that would produce what you are showing. It appears that you are using the Filter, Censuses & Lists; however, beyond that I am not certain how you got to this kind of result.

Would you mind sharing what steps you followed to get to what you have displayed above.

Have you tried narrowing your search first to a location and then by the collections? In other words, zero in on Denmark and then select the censuses. I narrowed my search to Denmark, and then chose the collection, and my results are all Danish censuses.

    From the Search Home page

Type Denmark in the Find a Country box or click on Browse places and select Denmark from the map or from the list on the right.

@CharlesEOlsen Engineers are welcoming feedback to improve the new Search Historical Records experience. On the right side of the page, you should see Feedback. Click it and let them know that you'd like to be able to sort the collections by title.

Sorting search results by titles of collections was a handy feature in the old records search tool and I believe it still has value in the new records search tool as well. I did what you recommended and posted my comment via Feedback but it didn't get to the right people - the coders/programmers. Please pass this comment along to the coders/programmers.

Thanks, Charlie Black (Charleston SC FHC volunteer staff)

Thanks for the Halloween scare - yes - you can still Search by Collection Title:

Scroll down on Search > Records page - Collection Title field

    or

    https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list/

i also see it as an option under More Options (Advanced Search). Depending on your Search Results view you may need to select More Options (at top of Search Results page).

It appears you have applied the Collection filter and then are viewing the selected Collection list. To sort by Title you would need to close the list to see the Collection Title field. Optionally because you cannot use the browser Find in page option for the list you could copy and paste the list and then get the Title. Either way - you are 1 step or several away from inputting the Title search field you wish. The features are 'user-friendly' several ways to get to where you want to go - just not the one you are looking for ... as mentioned above you have other options for filtering...

    Mike357,

I am sorry that I did not reply to your Question earlier. I took a screen shot of the new Search page from clicking on FamilySearch when on a Person Page. To get the popup with the Sources you click on Collection button at the top of the page. I hope this helps.

I really thought I was reaching out to the Engineers.
