Incorrect information on indexed image

While doing look ups I have found several records that say that the record is a marriage record but in reality it is a birth record. Is it possible to fix these records? For example Maria Carmen Cherro's index record says it is a marriage record found on https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QG3J-4GZV which takes you to https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-89SY-Q4YL?cc=1976089 (film #5628309, image 1496) shows that it is a birth record not a marriage record and the record itself found on https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS24-D37M-9?i=1316&cat=704515 (film #8165380, image 1317) shows that it is definitely a birth record. I have encountered this problem several times and wondered if one indexer might have done one batch with the wrong information for all records.

Once the record has been indexed, all reports of incorrect indexing, error of indexing or transcription, are managed in the category of Search-and not in indexing. To help you to get answer to your question soon we are moving your question/report to Search. Thank you for your patience.

Since Family Search changed their system for using records, I'm finding more and more indexing errors and more than one or two errors on a record. It used to be you could use "Edit" to correct these errors. Unfortunately, seems this option is rarely available now. If it's a record from, for instance, Ancestry, I'm not able to view or correct the record, as I'm not a member. Very frustrating!

What is the best way to inform Family Search about these errors?

Have I come to the right place to do that?

    Thank you.

The problem is not within the indexing, it is the header information that says whether the record is a birth or a marriage.

@Casos Karen Larkin Yes, miss-indexed are a problem. And, as mentioned, the option to edit the incorrect information is not always offered , nor available. You might take a look at this article of instruction to see if it provides a workable solution for you. How do I correct indexing errors in historical records?

I have come across a indexed page, that has left off 75% of the names, and has added these pages to Burials in Santa Catarina - Brazil, when this is part of a large section of Church records of Burials and Births in St Catherine - Jamaica. How does one go about getting this entire page reindexed? Thank you.

You can move my question to the correct group if I am in the wrong place.
