Deleting family tree

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySaerch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
FYI
You cannot "Remove" the "Ancestral" Lines; as, we do not have our OWN "Tree" in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', we ONLY have "Branches" (ie. Ancestral" Lines), that are interconnected, in this SINGLE "One" World "Tree", for all of us, that is "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
Now ...
That Said ...
One thing, that you can do, is to "Change" the "Deceased" individuals/persons that YOU "Created" in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
Another thing, DO NOT "Change" the individuals/persons that were "Created" by OTHER Users/Patrons, in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', that YOU associated to you "Ancestral" Lines, just/simply "Detach" them from your "Ancestral" Lines.
And, remember, although you can (ie. have the ability to) "Delete" any individual/person that YOU "Created" in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'; and, NO Other User/Patron (including: 'FamilySearch') has had any input into, you MAY not need to actually "Delete" them, you may just need to "Change" them around (eg. the "Relationships", etc) in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
Always START with yourself.
Then, go BACK, one person and generation, at a time - your Parents being the next after you.
Take your time.
You should be able to address/fix the situation; but, it may take time and some work, by you.
Remember:
You may not need to start over again, just go back to yourself; and, from there, start correcting the 'wayward' information/details.
There are many "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch', here are just some ...
In Family Tree, how do I insert a missing generation?
How do I correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree?
A person in Family Tree has the wrong spouse

I hope this may help, somewhat.

@JosephField5 if you share a person ID (or URL), we could help you un-muddle the part of the tree you worked on.
Odds are, most of the tree you would upload is already here, and the upload would muddle even more.

Many thanks folks. I will get better at it - I am long in the tooth but fairly IT savyy. I think I made progress today using substitution.
