Obliteration of family line
Someone completely obliterated my husband's line, starting with his mom's parents. The two listed - GS5C-ZHD and GZCY-FTY - are completely incorrect. Not even close. Is there a way to reinstate his grandparents? To delete whatever someone did and put it back right? I don't even know their names, we only had them entered in familysearch and I would have to re-ask all the relatives for all the information. Not cool.

We are so sorry you are having this problem. You can see all the changes made to a person by viewing Latest Changes on the right side of your screen. You may have to scroll down the page a bit to see it. When you click on Show All, you can see every change that has been made to the person since they were entered. Here is a link to an article that explains how to restore information that was changed.

This appears to the be detail page for your husband's mother.
As you can see, the other user who really was not paying attention at all did not delete her actual parents but just added a second set. Since the second set is marked as the Preferred parents, that is the set that shows on any pedigree view.
It looks like the trouble arose when the other user was trying to attach as a source the obituary for Sharon Cable, the daughter, not the spouse of Robert Lee Cable, and just got things really messed up. In all fairness, it is a pretty complicated obituary with a lot of names. I suspect the user got so confused and mixed up that he or she just gave up and didn't know how to fix what when wrong
This is easy to fix. Just go in Family Tree on Betty Jane's page, click on the notepad with pencil icon seen in the right lower corner of the image above in the box with her name as a child of the wrong parents and then click on Remove or Replace next to her name.
The next page that comes up gives you the option to remove both parents.
To prevent this from happening again, I would suggest you go into that obituary source and attach it to the correct people. Sharon Cable's (marriage name Sharon Rose) parents are given in the obituary as Robert Lee and Helen Lucille (Pearish) Cable. so she does appear to be family. If you don't want to deal with the obituary, I would be happy to look around in the family and get any deceased individuals properly attached for you. Just let me know.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, be sure to remove the obituary source from Betty Jane's source page and the residence that got added from the obituary or this will lead to more problems. The reference in the obituary is for Beth, who was Sharon's daughter, not for Betty Jane.

@DebraEssling you might have a go at fixing it yourself. If you get stuck you can come here for more help. Gordon Collett has offered and is very capable. Have no fear of making mistakes, because every change here can be changed back again. Nothing is destroyed. We all make lots of mistakes.
Getting profiles including sources squeaky clean is important, because on Family Tree any cruft will tend to beget more cruft.
