Muster roll ... situation not covered in examples

I am working on the following: https://www.familysearch.org/indexing/batch/6f3dd495-8bdf-44d3-9505-91432c8fdc71. Muster roll.

Under the main heading of enlisted there is a sub heading (By Whom). I feel that I should make entries for the names in this column.

Would that be correct? None of the examples that I could find covered this situation. The instructions say to not list the name of the person preparing the report but these men don't fall under that category, but they are obviously not included in this particular muster either.

suggestions friendly guidance??

    Hi LarryClark43

This image has the names of those recorded on the Muster Roll. In the Project Instructions under What to Index, bullet point 3 says, "Do not index the name of the person preparing the record of monthly rolls and monthly rosters unless the person is also listed on the roster or roll itself." Per these instructions, the names under "By Whom" would not be indexed, because they are not listed on the roster or roll itself.

    Hope this answers your question.
