    Hi Karen.

Please provide some IDs for these people. The names are too common to be able to identify them

    Thanks

The 1871 census lists Maria as unmarried. Do you know definitely that she was married? Have you a copy of the birth certificate for William Alfred Cox? It may well be useful to get a copy of Henry's birth certificate as well in case a different father is listed. Of course, it could be that no father is listed for either of them. Where does the maiden name Smith come from?

    Regards

    Graham
