I would recommend starting with the Guided Research at https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/GuidedResearch:New_York and https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/GuidedResearch:Connecticut.

Lorena Mitchell and her husband Luther Fuller are found in familysearch.org her PID number is LW6G-QFV. In the record there are 5 sources attached. One source is the research notes for the couple. He tells all the places he searched and the results. Another is the death record of a son Amos Botsford Fuller who the record says was born in Stockholm, St Lawrence, New York. I hope this will give hints for your further research.

It just so happens that I have looked at this one because I was helping one of your relatives on this one. This one will be very difficult to find from original source documents because so little was recorded about women in this time period in New York, and she lived in places that were all being newly settled with few records.
I believe that the best way to find her is going to be DNA. I know that there is a descendant that's 2 generations away that's done a DNA test, though I haven't looked at his results, though. If there is a descendant or two that has close matches to other Mitchells in these areas, then it would give you a potential family to try to prove.

Have you tried tracking Luther Fuller through the land deeds and tax lists, as well as following him and his father through the census and looking at the common neighbors to identify who the families were that were closely connected? You won't likely find direct evidence of Lorena's parents but you may be able to gather enough indirect evidence to know.

Also, do you have a copy of the marriage document for Luther Fuller and Lorena Mitchell? If so, does it list where they were living at the time they married?
