As has been pointed out, you cannot do it directly. However,

 

If you DO real want a GEDCOM file from data in FS, you can transfer those sections of the FamilySearch FamilyTree to other sites like MyHeritage or Ancestry and you can generate a GEDCOM from the data there. It is also possible if you have a third party certified tool such as Ancestral Quest, Legacy, or Roots Magic, you can do the same thing by downloading parts of the FSFT and creating your GEDCOM file from those tools.

 

However attempting to upload a GEDCOM file into the single shared FamilyTree is a bad idea and doesn't work the way you might expect.
