Looking for my paternal grandmother's parents!
Country: Brazil
State: Piauí
Possible second State: Ceará
My Grandmother’s name: Francisca Clementina Marques (GQ34-JGC)
DOB: 03/15/1913
Parent’s names according to her marriage license:
-Father: José Marques (GQ3H-QSH)
-Mother: Gonçala Marques (GQ3H-NQP)
(Both parents were farmers)
Notes:
-She was given to adoption first around 1922. Please note, her first adoption was not done thru legal process, there is not paper trace that we know. Her initial adopt mother couldn't kept her because some social issues she had and she was forced by local police to surrender my grandmother to the local authorities who found her a new place to live. My grandmother said that it's possible that the second adoption family could have done that process thru papers but she couldn't confirm for sure
Places where my grandmother lived in Brazil when she was young:
-She said she was born closed by a city name as “Telhas” known today as “Monsenhor Tabosa”
-Lived by the division between Ceará/Piauí
-Serra das Matas (name of the location around where she lived)
-Sobral when she was adopted both times
-She remember having 5 brother/sisters. She said that her sister Gonçala was younger and the she was born after 1913.
-She remember being the first child from her family to be given for adoption.
Extra info: DNA Tests!
-After analyzing our family matches, we found some others cities names where our matches came from such as:
-Tamboril;
-Ipueiras;
-Ibiapaba;
-Crateús;
-Independência;
-Russas;
Novo Oriente.
Thank you

I found this couple marriage certificate from Ipueiras City, which is one of the cities listed as possible city where grandmother lived. Both names match my grandmother parent's first names and one of the family names my grandmother did remember (Marques)

Just coincidence?
Thanks
