WWII POW’s
I found an article in a Clanton, Chilton County, Alabama newspaper that says one of my uncles had been a pow for a while, Anyone know where online i may be able to find more info about this ?

Tokyo, June 7 Allied headquarters legal section today charged Naozo Shimodaira and Natsujiro, former 'civilian guards at prison camps, with picking, biting and mistreating American prisoners of war. Four named among those mistreated were from Alabama, and one, ' Pvt. Joseph D. Waller, is from Mt. Creek, Ala. Word was received, last week from Claude Marcus, who had just arrived home in California after being a prisoner of war for some time. He is a brother of Marvin W. Marcus of Clanton.
