Danish Translation Help to verify
I have two files to translate. 1- Jens Snever I think its his child 1st April entry 1799 2- I believe this is Maren who's father is Anders. Is this correct? Would match a census probability. Thank You! Will

1) The year is actually 1755; the 5s look a lot like a double 9, but if you go to the next image, you can see it starts with 1760. The snippet you took from https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?epid=17121800#160316,26946965 is a list of the people who died in 1755. The middle entry is for what looks like 16 April, on which day Jens Snever's male child, age 6 [some unit of time], was buried.

2) It cannot be Maren because Maren is a female name in Denmark, and the record definitely reads that it is a male child. It looks like it could be Nader, which is a Danish male name, but fairly rare.

Thank you. It didn't name the child did it? I have Jens with two Peders and I assumed the first one died which is why they would recycle the name.
